Rachel Coyle

Rachel studied animal biology at Edinburgh’s Napier University and started trying to make a career in conservation by volunteering as a warden intern with the RSPB at Leighton Moss in Lancashire.

She worked in the Cairngorm National Park for four years in various roles including working at Loch Garten Osprey Centre and Abernethy. She then went on to a path-work traineeship with The Mountains And The People (TMTP) project followed by a job with Stonescape, (path contractor), carrying out path maintenance work throughout the National Park.

She is currently working with Peatland Action helping to restore and repair damaged peatlands in the Scottish Borders.
